Hi.

I am not an add-on developer, but I have been asked by few people about WebExtensions support in Firefox, namely about their installation process. Are WebExtensions add-on going to be restartless in Firefox? And during the installation process, are there any confirmation dialogs, like for the XUL base add-ons are?

Yes and yes.

You can try this add-on I wrote.
It is fully reviewed and installs in Firefox 47+ as a WebExtension.
