I keep getting emails that the add-on does not work on Android. They say there is no button in the side bar (after clicking the 3 dots). Is there something I need to add to make a button appear there? I would just remove the add-on from Android Firefox but it won’t let me do so. So now my add-on is getting negative reviews that I cannot control. Please help. This is the add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/bookmarkos/
If you lack the APIs on mobile for your extension, I would remove compatibility for Firefox for Android. You can do that from Manage my Submissions:
Your latest version appears to have Android compatibility in its metadata. Did you add it recently to try to fix the problem, or was is always there?
What do you mean that you weren’t able to remove your add-on from Android?
Ah, I see. I wasn’t able to remove the add-on from the Firefox Android
directory so Android users were installing it. I’ve removed the Android
compatibility from that page. Thank you!
