Dev Community Project Meeting, April 13th 2017

Hello everybody,

The meeting for April 13th 2017 has been canceled has too many people weren’t able to attend, still here is the update for the project. Next meeting is schedule on April 27th 2017.

Status

  • Our developer survey is running smoothy and we got 3300 answers so far. It is enough to have a statistical relevance, however we will continue to run it up to the end of this week-end in order to get a bit more answers to have a better demographic breakdown of our data. If you want to help, sharing the survey around you is something you should do right away  This will be especially helpful if you are located outside of US/EU or if your network leads to some known minorities in the developer/designer world.

Next steps

  • Draft the narrative off all the findings to share them by end of month, which is already in progress but it’s too early to share at that time (the survey isn’t fully done yet).
  • A meeting is schedule on Friday with the Community Infrastructure team to start discussing the requirement necessary to start the concrete experimentation for that program.
  • Ali is scheduling a brainstorming session in Berlin later in May to start the experimentation work.

Blockers

  • None

I’m available to answer any questions you could have about that meeting, and the project

Best,
Jeremie
