Web Extension with Google Analytics?

My Web Extension was rejected with this message:

“We do not allow the Google Analytics script to be included in the extension, you need to use a content iframe to include GA.”

Can someone please point me to the documentation showing how to do this?

You can send the data to Google Analytics without having to include the script. I think this documentation can be of help.

I’m not sure if there’s a good way to create a content iframe using WebExtensions.
