Meeting with Community Development Team

The Community Development Team joined our meeting for half an hour to discuss current topics and strategic planning/alignment for this quarter.

Meeting Notes

The meeting notes will be published soon. We have had some delay due to work load, we expect this to be solved in a short timeframe. To make sure that this delay doesn’t get bigger, we will be publishing meeting notes in parallel.

Update from OKR Areas

Communication
We are currently drafting a plan for the newsletter given the feedback we have received so far. We are also looking into possibilities to reach all Reps through a common tool which wouldn’t need manual interaction.

Further we took the following (minor) decisions:

  • Figure out why #remo IRC is not bridged to Telegram anymore and if that would make sense again (#remo has been very inactive in the past so that might not need to be necessary)
  • #remo-dev IRC will be incorporated into #participationsystems to have all related channels in one place
  • The reps-dev mailing list has been inactive for a long time and will be deprecated. There is a Discourse category for it.

Onboarding
We are greatly appreciating the feedback we got so far and will be incorporating this in the draft. We will share more broadly once this is done and will test this with a first group of applicants in parallel. With that feedback (from both Reps and applicants) we will be able to further improve the Webinar and decrease our time on onboarding delays.

Activate
The Test Pilot activity was retired this week. Thanks everyone for your contributions!

Mobilizers
We have started to create a document to start to explain what we mean by “mobilizers”. We will soon post this on Discourse and invite everyone to participate in a discussion on how this impacts the Reps’ role.

Reps Issues on GitHub

We still have all our tasks in the Reps GitHub repository (https://github.com/mozilla/reps/issues), have a look there to get involved and keep up to date with what we’re up to.
