Old Search extension descritption is in Crylic

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/old-search1/

en-US and all the text is Crylic

Isn’t there some sort of localization for the AMO website?

There is, but if the author decides to do it in Russian it’s his choice (the alphabet is called Cyrillic ;-))

This bug was filed and WONTFIXED

Thanks for the answer.

Overall it was silly to WONTFIX that Bug, especially for the reason given “Not everyone speaks English …” - how hard would it be for the person who started the AMO account for an add-on to spend a minute and get a translation to English rather than every person who is interested in that add-on be expected to translate it to learn what it does? At that rate it’s no wonder why that add-on only has 31 users. And the mention of hiding extensions based upon locales “is worth pursuing” - just plain asinine. Not that this affects me, I am using ESR 38 with the OneOffButtons pref available to revert to the old search bar, and it’s actions & developer statements such as that will be or are the reason that after 13 years I intend to become a former Firefox user. Like an abused faithful pet, Mozilla is “beating” my loyalty to Firefox out of me.
