Need to take down plugin, but add-on site says my account doesn't exist

I have a plugin published in the addons.mozzilla.org portal. However, it is necessary for me to remove it. When I go to use my email address during login it doesn’t work. In addition to this, the site says my account does not exist when I try to do a password recovery.

I know that I am trying to recover the correct account, because the email it’s linked to has been receiving compatibility updates (for this plugin specifically).

Has something changed about old accounts? It’s fairly pressing that I take down the plugin.

The authentication system was changed to Firefox Accounts a while ago. If you didn’t do the migration back then, all you need to do is create an account using the same email address. That should give you access to your add-on. If that doesn’t work, please contact amo-admins AT mozilla DOT org with the details.
