Budget Allocation Q1/2

As last year, in order to emphasize more on the initiatives that are priorities for Mozilla and in order to align with Participation goals the council has decided to allocate the 1st and 2nd quarterly (Q1 and Q2) budget based on 3 different groups we identified. You can find the budget allocation here (https://datastudio.google.com/u/0/#/org//reporting/0B8afomu5khGpMVB6QnV4X2hoaU0/page/cCAD) (for Q2 we will use the same allocation).

New Activate Front Page
We’ve changed the Activate front page and it looks better than ever!
In detail what we did is:

  • We removed the categories

  • Activities are now shown on the frontpage for easy access

  • There is a slider at the bottom of the frontpage to give you tips on where to start

  • Activities have a tag on the bottom left of the box to indicate what skill set they belong to (for now “Programming”, “Participation” and “Testing”)

  • Those tags are also indicated by the border color of the box

  • Activities now have nice pictures to quickly identify them

  • The suggested duration of each activity can now be seen without opening it

  • We changed the description and header picture

Check it out! (https://activate.mozilla.community/)

Mozilla Developer Program Survey
Mozilla is working on a new program to connect and support web developers and web builders who share Mozilla’s values and we’re trying to reach as many developers as we can to understand what they think of this concept, what value it would bring to them, how they would like to be involved, etc.

Our ask: Help expand the reach of our research by sharing this survey (https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1cLu-0glBgT4SbJ3_pO7OJop4K1dpBQ43PXYY_Pjd4Qw/viewform?ts=58d296a4&edit_requested=true) with all of the web developers in your networks!

Want to know more about this project? Join us in the Reps call on the 6th of April where Jeremie Patonnier from the developer marketing team will be sharing more about the project and the survey.
