Here are the Council meeting notes from August 5:
Mentee reassignment / assignments
To get our application queue down and reassign mentees without mentors we agreed to send out a mail to all mentors to see who has capacity to have new mentees. Michael will assign all non-IN applications to these mentors. Shahid will get feedback from Indian mentors/Reps about the Indian applicants and according to this feedback we will priorize them and assign to mentors for interviews.
Wiki cleanup

Open Letter
We discussed the open letter sent to reps-general in Council and agreed to send out answers as fast as possible. We appreciated the feedback and we know that we can’t work without feedback from all Reps.
Meeting notes
We decided to publish all outstanding meeting notes until Sunday evening. We’re sorry this happened and we’ll make sure to publish the notes on the next Sunday following the meetings to increase transparency on what topics we’re discussing.
Participation Team Q3 goals
We talked about the Q3 goals of the Participation Team and focused on the goals that directly involve the Reps program. Due to not everybody being able to join the meeting, we couldn’t discuss all open questions that might be open from our side, but the next task is to go through all the documents and GitHub issues to get up to date and express interest in the GitHub issues itself if somebody from Council is interested in working on a specific goal/heartbeat item.
