It’s always fascinating to me how different people have different visual sensitivity in this area. I can’t easily read content that isn’t extremely high contrast; the recommended guidelines for contrast result in text that’s so muted vs the background that my eyes strain to read it. I need pure black on pure white, or very very close to it, or I have difficulty reading the text easily.
I would love for our redesign to incorporate the option to have high contrast vs reduced contrast versions, personally.
